End User Licence Agreement

1. Licence

LAYERS OF TIME STUDIO PTE. LTD. grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run SINGULARITY on up to 2 computers at a time for the term of your subscription, or on the one computer named in a licence key for the term of that key.

2. Activation and checks

The software checks its licence when it starts, never during a running show. After a successful check it runs for 30 days without one. After a subscription ends it runs for 7 more days, then asks for a renewed licence at its next start. An offline activation file from your account page activates a computer that is never online.

3. SINGULARITY:RECEIVER and crew screens

SINGULARITY:RECEIVER and the crew screens served to phones and tablets need no licence and may be used freely with a licensed SINGULARITY.

4. Restrictions

You may not sell, rent, sublicense or share the software or a licence, remove its notices, or circumvent its licence checks. [DRAFT: reverse-engineering clause to be drafted by counsel with the exceptions required by law.]

5. Third-party software

The software includes open-source components under their own licences, listed in its THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES and in Settings › Info. Those licences apply to those components.

6. Updates

Updates are offered inside the software while the subscription runs. They install only when you ask, and never while Show lock is on or timecode is running.

7. Warranty and liability

8. Term

This licence lasts as long as your subscription or key is valid and ends if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the software and uninstall it.
