Collective Minds brought Yung Singh to Singapore in January 2024, with Salut alongside him. The room was built from almost nothing: a dark box, a booth, and a set of square light frames stacked and tilted around it, with the artist’s name thrown across the ceiling in light.
We ran the visuals and the lighting, locked to the decks for a set that moves between tempos all night. The frames were the whole rig, which is the point: one strong idea, lit precisely, beats a wall of fixtures.
Rig and credits to follow.
